Works more or less but I'm sending it back.- The instructions say to set up a static IP for the device. The software also has a DHCP function, but it just doesn't work, my router issued IP to the MAC address of the device (this was visible in the logs), but the device itself was not available. I reset it, followed the static IP instructions and it worked. The HTML5 stream preview function on the status page is broken and has crackling/corrupt sound in Firefox. At first I thought it was a stream, but the sound of the stream seems good, it's just a preview. I'm streaming audio at 320 kbps. Sometimes I connected RTSP to the device via VLC and the stream stopped after about 1 second, or the sound disappeared. I don't know if this is a VLC problem or not. It doesn't seem to affect the show. - I was a little annoyed with the image quality until I noticed that it was using the default H.264 profile and changing it to High gave the expected quality. - This thing tries to transmit all the time. when the power is on. Even when I disconnected the video source by turning off the camcorder, it randomly connected to the servers with the audio stream (I'm using separate audio from the DJ mixer) and the test video template. And then disconnect and reconnect. I had to unplug the power cord to stop it, there is no button or switch in the web interface that I could find. Long story short, it's too much trouble for my liking, and not having any control over when the stream ends was a deal breaker, so I'm sending it back and trying something else.
