I switched to this from the AT92E. What an improvement. The mids and highs are crisper and clearer, the bass is deeper. Surface noise is greatly reduced in older recordings and tracked very well. It also installed well on the shell, plug and play in my case. Worth the extra small payout. All in all, I couldn't be happier with this purchase. It's worth upgrading if you have a cheap cartridge.
