I usually go to the salon for a relaxing product, but due to the pandemic I had to find an alternative. For many years I used a straightening comb, but I couldn't overcome the fear of getting burned (imprinted by my mother, who used hot tools to constantly scratch me when I was young). I have to admit I was skeptical of how good a straightening comb could be, but after reading online articles and reviews I decided to buy this GHD. WOW! The results are better than I expected! My curly hair is almost completely straight; much better than the results I got with my old straightening comb because I can run the brush over my roots! No burned scalp, fingers or ears! There are cheaper brushes out there but I believe you get what you pay for. This is a very well made product. Will it replace the salon? no Will it replace my straightening comb? Absolutely! For all curly hair, if you're in the same boat as me, I recommend this comb for easy straightening at home.
