Review on Indian Glance Wooden Knitting Crochet by Amy Mcleod

Yarn catches on rough edges

The only reason to buy a knitting bowl is to be able to place a ball of yarn and thread it through the beautiful patterns on the side of the bowl. Well, that's not the case here. The bow is perfectly cut and smooth EXCEPT for the carved area which makes the yarn stick and break, especially since I'm using a very thin 3ply cotton yarn. I've filed with sandpaper, rubbed the edges with wax, tried in vain. The thread gets caught and breaks. I'm not interested in returning the item as it will be more expensive than it's worth, so I'm writing a review. An honest review until they decide to make the shell more careful, thoughtful and useful. I have other bowls that I buy in stores and I made sure to soften the edges, but when buying online this is not possible. LET THE BUYER BE ATTENTION.
