I am an artist who owns and runs an art gallery and also runs workshops for non-commercial studios. I often buy supplies ahead of time and save them in case I run out or need them. Large pads are hard to come by at a relatively affordable price and I usually buy accessories through Blick or Jerry's but saw this in my recommendations and decided to give it a try. From the moment I ordered it and decided to open it today when I'm ready to teach figure drawing master classes. Needless to say, it is in unacceptable condition, with a thin, torn binding and a nice, noticeable crease down the middle of 49 out of 50 sheets and a folded corner. Far from the level of a "pro series". I'm hoping that with another $30 I can put a board and weights on it and hopefully make it good enough to only use in demos and for practice, but it's used as something else for finished art I think spoiled. Of all the things paper can do B-uh, this one is to make B flat major. It went wrong.
