Review on π F-150 Tailgate Assist: Premium Off-Road Shock Lift Support 2015-2021 by Djuan Thompson
It was fine for a couple of weeks except for the clicking sound.
A few weeks everything was fine, except for the clapping when closing it was loud, uncomfortable and mostly awkward in parking lots. Now there is no spring retainer for mounting the upper ball joint so the shock doesn't hold at all.
