, I have been using Felco model #2 secateurs for 30 years. I have literally tried (with little success) to sharpen the blades to my satisfaction using 4 or 5 different wet stones or files. I work as a maintenance technician and do a lot of trimming/trimming during the spring and summer, so having sharp tools actually reduces the amount of labor and time it takes to get a given job done. I bought the Felco 903 sharpening stone solely because of the brand name and it did not disappoint. Spent a few minutes after work and all 3 sets of my secateurs were as sharp as the day I bought them. This is a tough little stone, use the instructions as directed and you will not regret your purchase.
