Review on Akebono ACT1698 Ultra Premium Brake by Marcus Price

Akebono ProAct ceramic brake pads are the best and will keep your wheels clean for months. Unless you're going to a racetrack, you don't need heavy braking. I've used ProActs on almost every machine I've owned. I had a 2006 Corvette Z51 (Performance Package) and the stock brakes stopped fine but squeaked loudly and the brake dust was terrible. Akebono's are so good that Chevy got smart and asked Akebono to make Corvette pads in newer models. I don't usually even change rotors. Just smack them and be amazed at how damn good they are! My wife is again very happy with her TLX.
