Doubtful after negative reviews. I was having trouble receiving satellite radio on my 2017 MKZ which has a GPS-Amd-XM combo antenna on the boot lid. I took a new XM antenna and hooked it up to the audio unit in the rear passenger fascia. Now the xm had great reception but the GPS had no signal. Apparently there is a splitter that splits the combined antenna signal and feeds it from the xm audio or antenna side. So I bought this GPS antenna and tried to connect it after the splitter in the trunk but the connector was also female. After removing the 8 inch screen from the front I found a pin in connection to the NAV box and I pulled out the factory wire and plugged in this antenna and placed it near the center front windshield. Works perfectly. So now I have GPS and XM with no constant signal reception with a clear view of the sky
