I just got this timer and so far I love it. It replaces a similar timer I had before with a button/watch battery which is expensive and seems to drain fairly quickly. Pros: Uses 2 AAA batteries, which are included with the timer (made of plastic so the batteries appear fully charged when you receive them); simple time entry with numbers from 0 to 9; snaps to the back to clip to your pants belt or to a container when you're taking something to the BBQ; strong magnet to attach to stove, fridge or other metal surface; has a stand for display on the counter; The alarm has 3 levels to alert you: slow, then faster, then faster (each for about 30 seconds) and finally stops unless you manually stop the alarm by pressing STOP; the timer turns off automatically after about 1 minute, which saves batteries; affordable price. Cons: VERY loud noise when you press any button and when the alarm goes off; would prefer the alarm not go in 3 stages as the total alarm time is long before stopping; taller than some but healthy; would like hours, minutes and seconds instead of just minutes and seconds.
