Enjoy, but don't rely on it entirely. It has excellent battery life. After a few workouts with GPS, I still have 18 days of battery life. However, if you hike 3-4 hours a day, you may need to charge it for 4 days.) The sleep monitor is good, but not perfect. Even if I get up to go to the bathroom or check my phone, the clock doesn't know I'm awake. However, GPS is not always connected. In 2 months of regular use I reckon there are 6 or 7 workouts with GPS tracking shifting actual location and making distance inaccurate. One day it turns out that I was in the middle of the Atlantic not far from Africa! I resorted to the Strava watch and smartphone to ensure I had a backup for accurate information. I still like the watch as an encouragement to exercise more and not spend big bucks on a device that may not work. over 4 years. Lithium-ion rechargeable devices are like that anyway.
