Review on 🚪 Maxpow Liftgate Gas Charged Lift Support Strut Set Compatible with 4Runner 2010-2018 PM1052 (Without Ladder) by Chris Wilson

Came into Revane looking for a replacement for my 2012 4-barrel tailgate after one of the struts failed while changing a flat tire - didn't know the door was so heavy as he collapsed on me. All the reviews said how easy the installation was; The hardest part was figuring out how to keep the back door at the right height (I used a ladder with extra scrap wood). Once secured, changing struts was as easy as changing wipers. It turned out that only one of the original struts had failed, although I had replaced both, so I now have a spare spring in case something happens. It's been 1 month and so far so good and worth the price compared to what the dealer wanted.
