He does what he says, but with a few caveats.
I bought this to turn my cable modem on in the middle of the night every night and it worked fine for a couple of weeks. Until one day in the middle of the day he turned off my internet access. It turns out that a recent power outage caused the timer to freeze for several hours, causing it to deviate from the desired time. The product is not to blame. It did exactly what it was designed to do. However, if you're using this in a technical application where you need ultra-precision and fault tolerance, you'll need something with a battery backup.
