Only fits AV receivers
I couldn't find a new replacement Onkyo remote for my aging Onkyo AV receiver so I decided to give it a try. It works great with the receiver, but the only other device I was able to get it to work with was my Motorola cable box. No matter how I tried to enter the codes, it just wouldn't work with my TV or DVD player. Absolutely no instructions. Why it works with a cable box and nothing else bothers me. Anyway, it's nice to be able to control my receiver's volume from the couch, but it's useless for anything else.
