Refoss is made in the same Far East factory as Meross but is cheaper. I don't know yet how well Meross is, but Refoss is not doing very well at the moment. Initially, installation was quick and easy using the Apple HomeKit app. But after a few days everything collapsed. I couldn't reconnect any of my Refoss devices to Apple HomeKit. Refoss/Meross' own app has worked fine all along and I could keep using the devices through their app... but I don't want to do that, I already have enough home automation apps and I'm just tired of everything. If it doesn't work via HomeKit, Alexa and/or Google... then it goes straight to the trash, it's that simple for me at the moment. I've been in the automation industry a long time and you still get what you pay for. This is how you save with Refoss, you get cheap service. After a few hours, all my Refoss items were finally connected to HomeKit again and everything was fine... but only for a few days. I've also noticed a lot of bot reviews here so I can't trust most of them, I would keep that in mind. I hope this review helps someone. As of this writing, I would not recommend this brand to my family, friends or anyone reading this review. Have fun shopping!
