My husband is a fanatic of old systems and games on their original system. IE is why we became game collectors. Anyway, it finally got a SNES that met my buying standards, but we had an issue where our TV wouldn't convert game images properly unless the screen was shaking. I thought this would fix the situation because it would work just like my old VCR growing up and my husband on the other hand who had never experienced the pass-through VCR method had his doubts. When it came today he was wary of the delay between the controller and the TV but low so I was right and there was nothing. It worked great with no crashes or lags. The screen is even blue like my VRC when you start it. Our problem was undoubtedly solved and my husband is delighted. One note, I don't know if everyone has it or just us, but 1080 and 720 have been replaced. You can tell it though, as it tells you on TV which one you're actually using, we found out. Husband set it to 1080 but when we turned it on he said it was set to 720. So that's something to keep in mind. Anyway, if you're having the same problem we are, where your TV just can't upgrade to 1080p from its original 240i, this will fix it for a pretty low price.
