Not safe for heavier people - paintwork damaged prior to arrival
It folds flat and seems pretty solid to me (170lbs) although it made a creaking noise. It didn't look or feel strong enough for my husband (300lbs) so we asked him to climb carefully and the bottom step buckled slightly (see picture) so it's just for me now. The steps feel flimsy, and while the cross members feel solid, they're held together with small welds. See photos. I bought it on purpose because the listing was up to Β£500. Not safe for tall people. When it arrived it also had a spot of rust. Don't use it as a decorative item, but since they suggested using it that way I thought you should know.
