Review on 🔧 Wiha 71996 Socket Set: 9 Piece Hex Metric Drive Sockets - 3/8" & 1/4" - Product Review & Comparison! by Steven Chiumento

I got them for twisting a hex bit from a local Chinese tool store. I supplement my tool collection with tools that last, not tools that break, and I replace them. The Chinese hex bits I've used for years are good, but I'm tired of buying them repeatedly and ending up with a couple of duplicate tools since I buy sets (they're cheap!). So I ran out of 5, 6, 7 and 8mm hex bits, twisted, and a dozen or two spares. Now with the Wiha bits I have a feeling they will last a lot longer as they definitely feel better. Inserting Wiha bits into a hex screw is a PLEASURE. That's a very positive attitude! Whilst a cheaper bit may fit I have noticed that there is some play with them whilst the Wiha sits snugly on the hex heads which certainly helps prevent slippage. I disassembled the caliper last weekend and noticed that the 6mm hex bolts are pretty round. I'm glad I have these tools, if I did otherwise I'd probably round them up once and for all! Great beats, no question. Finally, the bits appear to be interchangeable as they are secured in their respective sockets with screws. This is a nice feature so you don't have to replace the whole outlet. at least I don't think you have to. I haven't had to change it yet to know for sure.
