I'm Jewish and French, my hair is curly and frizzy, it was pretty messy and dry. I have included a photo of my natural hair, air dried without product, before treatment. I'm thinking about updating in a month because I haven't seen any information on how long this will take. Step 1 shampoo left my hair shockingly brittle, but I'm not afraid this is intentional to streak hair. Please follow the instructions. I've read people say to leave it for 3 days but the seller hasn't commented more than once. It is also printed on the inside of the box. The second step says not to oversaturate the hair, but I couldn't tell if I was oversaturating it, so I took off one of my gloves. Not! My fingers on my left hand are very dry and like raisins lol. The instructions say to divide into 6 sections, I made a lot more but I have a lot of hair. Step two: Cut, edit, blow dry, then iron piece by piece. Very tiring. 3 hours is exhausting. Subsequently, although my friend and colleagues (without prompting) remarked that it became more lustrous, so soft to the touch, light, poseable and flexible. I was going to cut it out afterwards, but I don't think I need it anymore! My hair is not straight but I am very happy with the added shine and smoothness. No frieze. In the video, my hair is right after step 3 and blow drying with a cool finger brush. My curls didn't magically disappear, they became more wavy, which I like. I am very happy! The only downsides were the pairs (open the window) and the finger cut (where the gloves were).
