I like that it allows me to see what my code looks like in real time as I make changes so there's less room for error when writing programs. It also helps with debugging by allowing you to step into your own code without having to write out all of the different input variables. In addition, I can use an IDE (like IntelliJ or Eclipse) if needed because VS Code works seamlessly within Visual Studio. Perhaps I'm not using everything available but I am unsure whether this would be helpful or not, since we are just starting to learn how these tools work. So far nothing! We're solving problems which include predicting the energy output from solar panels under various conditions and calculating bond energies in molecules.
