Review on ☕ Farberware FCP412: Stainless Steel 12-Cup Percolator - Efficient Brewing at its Finest by Whitney Byers

I wish I would give this unit a 5 star rating just because we have had this particular model in the past. However, the lid would not close, so it lifted from one side or the other when pressed down. However, I could live with that problem if the coffee was good, but no matter what we tried, the coffee was weak every time. I'm not sure if these issues are related, but we have decided to return this product. From other reviews I read before buying this product is not as well made as it was 5 years ago for example. We got our first one as a gift about 8 years ago and it was fantastic. Not the easiest to clean but the coffee was amazing. When we moved in we didn't use it for a while and I tried cleaning it with vinegar but it affected the taste of the coffee.
