I am not at all satisfied with this purchase. I expected much better quality and product care for the price. I compared it to several other laptop desks starting at $50 and chose this model for the style and assumed the quality would be adequate. I have several photos of all the scratches, dents and poor packaging. I wanted to put it together to give a complete overview. This may be the first one-star review I've given (I'm trying to remember on the fly). Luckily I have one person who just assembled 3 large pieces of furniture in the last 3 days. He reported that the instructions were easy to follow. Not all parts were marked with numbers which are on the instructions to tell you which part to use. Some fasteners (especially cams) are loose and exposed bolts are unattractive as they cannot be hidden or camouflaged. I bought a black walnut and the screws are silver. The drawers have no stops, so they slide forward immediately. Once assembled the device works, I'm just really pissed at the quality for the price paid. *** Update 4 Jan 18 As a result I have increased my star rating. I see hints that the company is working on an improvement (the hints I've seen are directed improvements). I believe they continue to work to improve the quality and care of their products, so I'm willing to agree with them when in doubt. I can keep and use the product. The table is fully functional when assembled. Labels aside, my only concern is the security of the tilt tray. It's a great feature having the ability to rotate and tilt, but if you tighten the knobs on the bottom after you've got it in position, the pressure will still depress it and keep it tilting, so I'll have to keep adjusting it Or don't try to push it. with my hands on it when typing or using the mouse.
