I have dry red carbon, looks nice and I like the feel of the texture. It adheres well and looks good in many cases. If it's a mostly flat object you're covering it will work really well, but if it's a complex shape it might not work at all. I got it to add some pop to my Saturn Vue console. I made a ring around the switch and it looked fine, but it just didn't work on the second part, which has a few curves and angles. It would stretch almost enough to fit but after working with it with a heat gun for over an hour I found that it wouldn't stretch enough and still stuck to all the curves and eventually to the same on both sides place tore . Now I'm not a pro and maybe there are some tricks I don't know but for my console it was a failure. I could do it in multiple parts but because of the pattern I don't think I can make it look good enough if I have multiple images with different directional patterns. It's a very cool product and looks good where it works, but it has its limitations.
