Are you looking for a temperature controller? That's it ! Look no further!

I've taken some time to review this product, but I'll update if there are any issues. I bought it with reservations on November 27th, 2016, but given what is available at a reasonable price I decided to give it a try. So far I LOVE IT! Rated at 1650w I was apprehensive about using it with a 1500w heater. I know, I know. It's lower than its rating, but it felt a bit close to me and I almost expected trouble. You (I) never want to push the boundaries of an electrical subject. (The heater is rated at 12.5A at 120V and the controller at 15A at 110V). When I first received it I didn't know how I would use it. I was planning on using it for heating only, but in our world the weather seems to be constantly changing, even in the middle of winter (it's January 12th and it's 70* outside) and I needed to maintain a certain temperature. Temperature in my "area" which is as low as 70 if possible. I decided to go ahead and test it with both heating and air conditioning. I have a window air conditioner and a 1500 watt heater in a relatively small area. One day the air is turned on and the next day the heating is turned on. It can be colder at night and uses heat, and during the day it can be warmer and use air conditioning. I don't always "keep" the "margin" I set, but it does what I want. Keeping the temperature close can be controlled via the device controls, which takes a bit of fiddling, but it can be done. Changing the settings is very easy. You just have to tweak the settings until you get what you want. If you don't want to stay there to see it, it may take days or a week or so to get it right, but it can be done. The temperature shown is different from the temperature shown on my other devices that I have everywhere. Of course, they don't agree either. But there is a way to adapt to it. Check out the specs. It is very "customizable". Like I said, I love it. I just hope it will stand up to everyday use. The best will be the one with the highest rating. I would like to add that the price has increased by $7 since I bought it. UPDATE: It's April 2019 and I have 2 of these now. Not much time has passed since the purchase of the above device, I decided to buy another one. I thought there was a problem but it hasn't reappeared until now. Now that I have 2, I can "micromanage" my pace as well. I connected 1 to the air conditioning and 1 to the heating. I know, I know. do you ask why Hello, everything works for me. Both. If for some reason my relay burned out on the heater side, I can use it for the air conditioner. Another thing is that both devices register almost the same tempo. They appear to be well calibrated. I also love long sticks. I have one of my control boxes completely outside of the room I'm monitoring. These blocks are AWESOME! I've been using them for three years now and I look forward to using them for many more years to come. I highly recommend!
