After watching a few do's and don'ts videos on YouTube I found them to be pretty easy to put on once I got the hang of them. If your hair is stuck, simply raise the wand to push the hair back instead of trying to pull the wand down and keep trying to guide the hair into the curler. If you get stuck, you have to insert less hair into the curlers. Sometimes it seems like you already have a small amount, but you need to use less! Once you accept these rules, you will be much more comfortable ending them. I've only tried them on twice and it took me about an hour to put them on. Again, I've never curled my hair with curlers. I didn't like sleeping in it as I sleep on my stomach and back so I've since bought a hood dryer attachment which is very economical and well worth it. If you plan to sleep in it, be sure to part your hair at the back of your head so you don't lie directly on top of the curlers. I've added some sample results. The last photo shows what it looks like towards the end of the week when the curls fall out. I used devacurl ultra defining gel. I will review the corkscrew separately with this product listing.
