I think the K&N filter will fit any car or truck. It's so good that it should come from the factory as an OEM product. Why the manufacturer uses a paper pleated filter is beyond me, but I can easily replace it for about $50. Installation: It's as simple as removing the captive screws on the air cleaner housing and replacing. It's pre-lubricated and ready to go, so throw it away in five minutes or less. Cleaning: I clean every two years as the mileage is around 30-40k miles. You can go as high as 50,000 but why hurry. Frequent cleaning is not recommended as a lightly soiled cotton fold retains particles better than a freshly oiled filter. Cleaning is easy with tap water, washing-up liquid and a soft brush. Make sure the cleaner has soaked for 10 minutes before rinsing it off with tap water. Allow to air dry for a few hours (outside) or overnight (inside) before re-oiling just the underside. Bottom line: remove annually and use a brush to remove heavy buildup unless using wet filter cleaning. Before reinstalling the filter, make sure the air filter box is clean and the filter is properly installed before closing the filter housing. Don't worry, excellent filtration and particle retention rates, easier breathing for the engine and better fuel economy. Best of all, it will last the life of your vehicle for less than $100.
