Great wireless transceiver chip for many projects. My first project was for a job where we have 8 garage doors with about a million garage door openers. So I used a cc1101 connected to a Wemos D1 Mini, which runs a simple web interface with a few buttons. The web interface controls the CC1101 to emulate garage door signals at 300MHz (non-slip code). I put everything in a 3D printed case and it has been working reliably 24/7 for about 6 months now. Overall, I'm impressed with this little transceiver. My next project will probably be to create a long distance data link (about 3 miles line of sight) between two raspberry pis and two cc1101s (and maybe some amps) using picc1101 on GitHub. Can't wait to try more projects!
