WOW! Incredibly eye opening and terrifying

I received this meter today after first reading about it in Nick Peno's book on electromagnetic fields a few months ago. I really didn't want to spend money on a blood glucose meter, but I'm SO glad I did! I implemented many of the suggestions in the book before purchasing the meter. Switched from Wi-Fi to Ethernet, stopped using my laptop while it was charging, ditched my smartphone entirely and replaced it with a "dumb" phone to reduce my addiction to iPhone apps, turned off the bedroom breaker at night, etc I feel a lot better as a result of these changes – my confused brain calms down, my sleep is better, I remember dreams better, I worry a lot less, my memory is better etc. But I still had the discomfort I had I felt like there were EMF issues in my house and I wanted to make sure the nearby cell phone tower wasn't causing excessive radiation so I bought a meter. As soon as it arrived I turned it on and started walking around the house. A house. RF levels were acceptable in most locations but alarmingly, frighteningly high in some environments: 1. Microwave. MY GOD. It's one thing to know that a microwave is bad; it's quite another to observe meter readings a thousand times higher than "environmental" radiation, even just a few feet from a microwave oven when it's operating. I turned off the microwave and after seeing this I can get rid of it altogether! 2. My iPhone, which isn't even serviced anymore, registers RF in the danger zone just by looking at photos on my phone! I figured I would be safe to use it for the camera only. I was wrong. The HF levels were far, far beyond the green safety zone, above the yellow warning zone and as far as the meter registers the red zone. Mostly at the highest level of anxiety, even without maintenance! 3. In my bedroom, the spikes were higher than I expected considering the only tech in the room is the TV, which wasn't even on. Well it's a smart tv like everything these days and when I went to the tv the numbers jumped 100 times even when it was off! I remembered the part of the book where Peno mentioned that smart devices are constantly trying to connect to Wi-Fi, even if you don't have Wi-Fi (I don't) and even if you have an Ethernet cable, to connect internet I have. . I have a Firestick with a network adapter. However, I believe the TV was trying to connect to Wi-Fi given the bursts of radiation I received as I approached the TV. When I turned it off, the RF level dropped 100x.4. Remote controls: Out of curiosity, I decided to test the remote controls. MY GOD. As soon as I pressed any button on the remote, even with the TV off, the RF levels jumped off the chart and into the danger zone! I got her out of the bedroom too. The readings in the bedroom are now within the safe zone.5. My laptop: I only use ethernet and have wi-fi disabled on the computer so it doesn't try to connect (as all those wireless devices seem to do even when they're off and there's no wi-fi). So the readings were in the safe zone next to my computer as long as I kept a reasonable distance with a USB keyboard with a long cable and a USB mouse with the same (Bluetooth is really bad). I turned on WiFi and my laptop started scanning for nearby networks and the radio frequency again disappeared from the chart. Again, just connecting to Ethernet isn't enough - you need to tell your devices not to try to connect to Wi-Fi. You need to go to your router settings and disable WiFi. Easy connection to an Ethernet network doesn't stop Wi-Fi from blowing up your home or your devices trying to connect.6. Smart meter: Compared to all household RF sources, the smart meter has proven to be relatively safe. Peno mentions this in his book. People tend to get nervous about smart meters and cell towers, but radiation from indoor sources is much, much higher – and much more is within our control. Now that I have this meter I can see how accurate it is - at least as far as the frequencies this meter is testing. have it. No more guesswork about the legitimacy of what I've read about EMF sources; no longer a question as to whether my "procedures" actually reduced my exposure to radiation. You no longer have to wonder how EMI safe my environment is. I now know and can take solace that a nearby cell tower (unless it's 5G) isn't bombarding me with dangerous radiation - at least compared to what my phone, computer, TV, remote controls, etc. are throwing at me blow up! Get this counter if you're in the same boat as me - it's worth the cost for peace of mind!
