This puller did not work for my application. However, I cannot blame the tool 100% in this case. The flywheel I was attempting to remove was so tight to the engine that it required a harmonic balancer puller for the car combined with a "free break" of the hub with an acetylene torch. What worries me about this tool for future use is that I have doubts about the quality of the material and thread. I suspect this puller will not hold or work well if pulling the flywheel or flywheels off requires additional pulling force than would be required to "release" a new cone, as opposed to what has been used for years. .
