A simple solution. in fuel transfer and lubrication
The "new" EPA gas cylinder design is inconvenient to use and usually makes a mess when I fill up my lawn mower with a 5 gallon gas cylinder. Gasoline was usually spilled on the ground and on the tractor. This design uses a simple vent. You drill a 1/2 inch hole in the gas cylinder (done when it's empty) and plug the vent. Simple design, works great, no leakage.
