I decided to have my own keyboard drawer for the extra width, but I want it to be strong and not rattle or roll when pulled out. It helps me. They work well because they have a full extension feature, others that offer a 3/4 extension partially hide some keys under the table when using a 14 inch length. My desk has a center support beam that only allowed me 14.5 inches. I bought a nice piece of popular wood (12 inches) and cut it down to 31.5 inches. I also took a piece of 1.25" wood paneling and cut the same length to attach the front edge. This leaves 1/2" above the bar for the mouse/keyboard pad and wrist rests to rest against. It also allows you to , sliding out 1/2" below the bottom of the board, which provides a finger grip to pull the drawer out from under the table. So I ended up with a 31.5" x 11.8" x 0.1" thick oblong long game board with rubber. back to prevent slipping. There is also a Hyper X wrist pad and a Glorious Gaming Mouse wrist pad. Cute! ! ! The rails have a tab that goes under the board to insert a screw and there are two slots beyond that. So if you want to put an extra screw in the end of the board, you can, and I did. When pulling out the drawer under the table, there is a nice friction fit and the front edge is completely under the tabletop. Also when you pull it out there is another nice friction lock when it's fully extended. This works very well for me. You can see what it looks like in the photos I've attached. I hope this helps anyone trying to make a decision.
