Review on K&N Cold Air Intake Kit for 2003-2006 Nissan 🚀 350Z, 3.5L V6 (57-6013): Guaranteed Horsepower Increase, High Performance, 50-State Legal by Edwin White

After about 2 weeks of using this on my Z I noticed an improvement in MPG. Another 1-2 mpg with that ethanol-damned gas. But what I really like is how much smoother the acceleration becomes. The engine is louder, but this is only noticeable when the gas supply is large. I am very happy with it. However, the documentation leaves a lot to be desired. First I also needed a torx (star) security screwdriver. Now I forgot what size but just in case you need it. The documentation doesn't say anything about a secure torx screwdriver. Second, you should also have a 5/16 screwdriver to help install the clips. Again, this is not specified in the documentation. Third, the documentation doesn't say you need to attach a clamp to the saddle mount that bolts to the motor. There were 5 clips, one with a different color screw. In step 18 I attached a different colored bolt to the seat stay. Finally, all of the documentation was in black and white, making some things difficult to discern. Take the time you need. One complaint I have about the part itself is that it is made entirely of plastic.
