Review on 🔥 De'Longhi TCH7690ER Safe Heat 1500W 28 in. Ceramic Tower Heater - Black with Remote Control, Eco Energy Setting by Abdul Jorge

We have had two previous DeLonghi heaters which have both worked well in the winter since 2008 decided to take another. TCH7690ER seems to work fine. A few modest changes. Earlier models switched off as soon as they lost contact with the ground. The gift really needs to be tipped over before it shuts down. This is an advantage if you want to adjust its position without having to turn it off and on again. The newer model has a nice backlit display that is always on by default, but only shows the temperature limit. I liked that older models showed the current temperature of the incoming air so you knew how cold it was in the room, but the LCD would go out after a short while, making it difficult to read. After the device is turned on and configured, it remembers its settings and turns on again with the same ones. However, if you turn it off, you have to go through the fan first, then the antifreeze mode before you reach the first heating mode. I assume this is to protect against your child turning it on when the device is right next to the curtains. The handle is also a bit flat, so you have to be careful not to carelessly lose your grip when carrying the device. But overall a very nice relatively quiet heater which if it proves to be as reliable as its predecessors would also be a bargain (they still work after 7 years). Thought, as another reviewer pointed out, that DeLonghi could provide more detailed instructions for the smaller assembly that comes with installing the base. There are no warnings to necessarily route the cord under the cord hook on the base, and I happened to note that during assembly it was wise to do so. However, it makes sense to ship the unit with the base removed for compactness and to avoid breakage. Small flaw with the product with which I am fully satisfied.
