Terrible waste of time

I've been playing around with these legs for a very long time. The metal used is extremely soft, the hex portion is easy to remove and the threads are bent with pliers to try and adjust. Then the mother does not turn. I have already invested in these legs as removing the brackets will leave holes in my project where I would have to replace them which completely compromises the strength. Not to mention the hours I wasted trying to get it to work. I finally got something that was approximately flat and semi-solid (but not solid because THE FEET ROCK THEMSELVES) and when I put the nut on it moved completely and I was back to square one. Impossible to raise the legs to the desired height and actually lock them. And even if you pick it up close, it will still sway because its legs are so wobbly. It was insulting. I wasted time and money and it messed up the end of my project. It's actually impossible to get them back because they got stuck due to my crate breaking and would require a jack to remove them at this point, not to mention they are in terrible shape after attempts to align them. Please take care and keep looking.
