As the title says, at $300 this is one of the cheapest thermal cameras out there, but that doesn't mean it's shoddy. It is very easy to use and accurate. You mention a pause/delay when moving the camera and it says 'CAL' in the bottom left corner. This is a recalibration of the machine so it can accurately show the temperature differences between objects currently in the frame. Any thermal imager will do this, but note that you're spending 10% of the price of those that do it in less than a second; However, I can literally wait 3 seconds for the machine to recalibrate and be accurate. Overall I can't find any issues at this price point.
