A more cost-effective way to produce high-quality hardcover protective cases with a dust jacket.

I used this film to make dust jackets for my collection of hardcover books and am very happy with the result. The film thickness of 0.002 is ideal for dust jackets. The thickness of the foil allows the sheets I cut from the roll to lay flat and not curl. The lack of waves alone makes working with this film a pure pleasure. The thickness of 0.002 makes it easy to fold the film and stay folded in the desired position. Although the foil is very easy to work with, its thickness still offers the high level of protection I expect from a dust jacket. Finally, the transparent version of this film that I used is very transparent and clear. This makes my dust jackets look as good as if they didn't have foil on them. I first bought this film as an alternative to the Brodart dust jacket as Brodart has higher prices and high shipping cost ($7.99). Delivery, even with Prime!?!? ). On the other hand, if you are using this film to make dust jackets, expect 11 or 12 regular size dust jackets on a 12 foot roll. If you are considering using this film for the same reasons I am, then you should do it for your own sake to try this film.
