This heater amazingly supports a large open plan living area of around 1000m2. Feet nice and fried, we had to give it up. I kept it largely to ecology. It has two plugs, not 3 pins, and an anti-tipper. The cable doesn't get hot, the plug doesn't. The lights are good to see. The only thing I hate is that I can't change the temperature on economy mode, it gets stuck at 85 but blows on low heat and turns off here and there. I would recommend this heater and maybe buy another one. There is no filter to clean just the metal back, so it can be nice or hectic. The remote control does not work well and needs to be very close to work, so we will stand up at this point. My son is 4 and has touched everything around this heater and it's not hot. The only hot part is the front two inches where the heat comes out. It also glows orange. It was easy to roll across my hardwood floor. All in all it's a good heater and warms a drafty house like mine, a huge open plan house with hardwood floors and huge picture windows, a huge slotted door and a drafty fireplace.
