Bought two kayaks for the kids, now what do I do with them? Answer: Store your Board 2 Kayak Ceiling Rack! Very easy to install in just a few minutes. I especially appreciated the fact that they are universal in that no matter which way your joists run you can turn the arms on the mount to face either way. This was very helpful because where I ended up putting them the joists actually ran in different directions. I ended up putting mine above the garage door rails (we have a very high garage ceiling) this means there is some manipulation needed to get the kayaks over the garage door rails and onto the rack but it is doable and I'm not putting them up and taking them down every day anyway. It does take two people and a ladder for me due to high ceilings. The kayaks don't slide onto the arms due to the rubber on the arms so you have to lift them into place. Bottom line, have had them in place for about a month and taken kayaks up and down several times, no problem. Easy to install, seem sturdy and safe. All install parts are included (except ladder and tools).
