This creamy ale came out great for me and all supplies were in perfect condition with a good sell by date. If you're interested in home brewing, this is probably the SIMPLE kit I've used, with probably some of the best results, even compared to the more complex brews I've made. Even if you have been brewing for a long time, this is definitely worth a try due to the ease of use. Want to make it more complicated? Consider using fruit or even coffee, vanilla, lactose is a great base for anything you want to add. Some thoughts on the beer itself: It was exceptionally smooth, with a light floral hop aroma, but admittedly no depth. For a beer so easy to brew, it was a compromise that I think was worth it. It also goes well with almost any meal. my favorite couple Korean Fried Chicken! Bonus tip: I wanted to increase the ABV and had an extra 5 ounce packet of priming sugar (aka corn sugar/dextrose) lying around and added an extra 10 ounces 40 minutes before cooking with the other corn sugar provided. . At the end of the boil I had 5.8-5.9%. Don't be afraid to experiment with it! Much luck!
