Very tart and NOT very creamy

Very easy to prepare, no grains at all. I don't think you can go wrong, it's definitely great for beginners. The taste was not at all what I expected. It was very tart and not creamy at all. I see that in some of the other reviewers as well. The beer isn't bad, but I'll try something else next time.

  • Large selection

Very important! in home brew starter kits

Very good beer kit, I've tried different brands and this is the best guide and ingredients! Has very good instructions in easy to read steps. Along with areas to record your time and notes. It took 3 months for the beer to mature to the desired taste. I will definitely do it again!

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Not sure

Drinkable and approachable

I bottled it 8/2717 and tried it a week later and it's very good! I've brewed many beers at home and this is one of the most "normal" and drinkable beers I've ever made. Not acidic or fruity like many recipes. I like a lot of craft beers, but I'm a little tired of the hop arms race that so many people are in. I love IPAs, but it's also nice to try something less bitter.

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Sad packaging

Reliable but amazing

If you follow the instructions, it is very difficult to screw things up. You have to try hard not to succeed. it said. The taste was a lot hoppy than I expected. It was also a lot more bitter than I had imagined. It will take time for this beer to develop the taste. It's not a beer you will refuse. This is a drinker. and it's intriguing enough that you'll want to take small sips over and over again until it's over.

Pros
  • Looks good
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Great first beer in homebrew starter kits

Love these kits. Fast, easy and gives you a drinkable beer with predictable results. I used a FastFerment conical and got a great, slightly clear 5% ABV American Cream Ale. A few tips if you're just starting out: Get an autosiphon and a pouring wand. Have a big kettle, this kit will foam on you. Buy a wort chiller if you plan on brewing again. This kit takes about 40 bottles when all is said and done.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

This caught my eye: Kitchen and dining room

Surprisingly easy and delicious homemade moonshine. This is my first attempt at home brewing and although I've been told the first batch is always a failure, I've had wild success. This is a great lawnmower beer with enough hops and body to surprise your friends and yourself. The guides from the best brewers are reliable, but you can get FU if you don't read first and try later. I am convinced of this brand and this special fragrance.

Pros
  • Fits many
Cons
  • Not bad

Great drink for a hot day!

Very pleasant infusion. Reminds me of a summer beer like Radler. Light but similar in sweetness to Belgian white. It also has an interesting citrus undertone. It would be great for a hot day at the BBQ. The cooking instructions were easy. There are no grains to pull in this drink, so the brewing time was very short. It had a slightly long fermentation time. It took a week and a half to finish. I gave it two weeks of full fermentation. didn't do the second.

Pros
  • Stable test results
Cons
  • I don't remember, but there was something

Love these kits on Beer Brewing

I only started brewing a few months ago and have quickly progressed from very basic kits using only pre-hopped LME to these top brewer kits. packed up. The instructions are clear enough if you are familiar with the brewing process. A post-fermentation is suggested, but since I use a cone fermentor I get a very clean beer without this step. This was my first experience with a new fermentor setup so I wanted something cheaper just in case something goes wrong! I usually drink IPAs and porters, so

Great ale even for the advanced brewer

This creamy ale came out great for me and all supplies were in perfect condition with a good sell by date. If you're interested in home brewing, this is probably the SIMPLE kit I've used, with probably some of the best results, even compared to the more complex brews I've made. Even if you have been brewing for a long time, this is definitely worth a try due to the ease of use. Want to make it more complicated? Consider using fruit or even coffee, vanilla, lactose is a great base for anything…
