Much better than the old one that broke

Our caravan had some sort of cupboard handle in front of the door on the steps. I was treated to one of these pens in our last trailer and missed it terribly when we shrunk. When the tie rod broke I wasted no time and bought one of these specially designed RV railings. It was easy to set up, but there was no indication of how high above the stairs it should be placed. My husband wanted to put it on the level of the old closet. I have looked at architectural standards that specify no more than 94 cm (37 inches) and no less than 76 cm (30 inches) from the top of the handrail to the top of the steps. I think we adjusted it to 36" and it's perfect!

Pros
  • This is great
Cons
  • Some bugs
