installed this on my boat with a new 48 inch antenna. like old radios where you press scan mode and when someone is talking it will stop at that channel. Here you have to program the channels you want to scan by just going to that station and holding down the scan button until you hear a beep, just like programming your car stereo. The company delivered it quickly and free of charge, in fact it came earlier than expected. I started it 4 times because for some reason I took the boat on the 3rd time, now there is a popping sound. I am not sure what is causing the poor testing of my ground wire Otherwise it is good value for money.
