WORST MOUNTING DIRECTION

Forget it if you're not an engineer. Get ready for some horrible sessions trying to set this thing up using the "instructions" that accompany this article. The stand itself is of good quality. This is the second one I've ordered. I've been using the first for a few months. However, I'm writing this VERY BAD review now because I'm running into the nightmare of setting it up again. I like this product BUT. My one star review focuses on the incredibly poor building instructions that come with it. There are so few of them that it's almost impossible to figure out except a lot of trial and error. Fun. Worst Travel Destinations Ever. Hours of work, even for a mechanically savvy person like me. If you're not feeling very, very, REALLY comfortable, think twice. Then think again. (For the more adventurous: The best tip I found in another review that wasn't even hinted at in the 'instructions': the tension of the springs is adjusted with an Allen screw hidden in the pivot itself. Push the lever and the screw is then visible.) It is best to study mechanical engineering

Pros
  • A sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • There are downsides
