Ok I really wanted to love these because their colored handles allow my kids to have their 'own' fry sticks and storage bags. The design doesn't lend itself to roasting hot dogs, however...the tines of the fork are thick (making the holes wide) and the spacing between them uneven, making it difficult to slide the hot dog far enough onto the stick. so that it does not slip off when the child tries to fry. As another reviewer mentioned, they also stay hot for a LONG time. I'm used to hot dog and marshmallow socks getting cold pretty quickly, but they're not! And it's not great if you have kids using them! All in all, I don't recommend them unless you ONLY want to use them to roast marshmallows and don't mind a heat issue.
