Great find and the painting/coloring was easy!
I love my new desk! I painted the bottom half with two coats of dark blue (semi-matt latex) and the top with a very small amount of walnut mixed with wood conditioner. Coated the top with 4 coats of semi-gloss polyurethane. I was a little apprehensive about the top as I only had 3 layers of PU, but an extra layer was enough for me!
