Excellent furniture. Firmly. Easy to build. Decided to paint and coat with Miniwax Polycrylic transparent water based gloss varnish. Use for hall table.

I love my new desk! I painted the bottom half with two coats of dark blue (semi-matt latex) and the top with a very small amount of walnut mixed with wood conditioner. Coated the top with 4 coats of semi-gloss polyurethane. I was a little apprehensive about the top as I only had 3 layers of PU, but an extra layer was enough for me!

I've been browsing console tables for several months but couldn't find a finished table in the size, color or price I needed. Then we found this very pretty but unfinished wooden table that was the perfect size! I painted with old oak paint and then coated. We wanted it to match our other furniture and the stain was perfect. Great find and a great addition to our home. It would be even better if it had a drawer or two, but that's quite enough.

We found the same table on another website at a higher price. We were happy to find it at Revain and the delivery was quicker than expected. The table has been sanded very smooth and is ready for finishing. We painted the top and painted the bottom. There were a few small areas on the top that didn't absorb the stain as easily and just needed a bit of touch up. I'm not sure if it was a tree or just my application. In the end it turned out great.

Ideal as a bar table behind the sofa. It was actually quite difficult to find a console table wide/deep enough for this type of use. I bought 2, both are as described, the simple design offers plenty of leg room (many console tables of this width have a cross brace between the legs). If I plan to use this table outdoors I would return it. Since it's between the back of my sofa and the wall, I decided to leave it. The legs are attached to the apron under the tabletop with two screws each and only go in one direction. One or more of the mounting points are misaligned, and when I installed the legs, the two legs on one side of the table were 1.5 inches further apart than those on the other side.
