These are plywood panels and they are slightly warped which is worse.

One board is slightly warped and the surface of the other is a bit rough but the description says it's unfinished so that's not really a problem. Trouble is, it's plywood! There was no plywood in the description. I needed solid wood for my marquetry projects and it just didn't work. A little disappointed.
