According to my experience this hammock hideout is a great addition to my pet supplies .It is perfect for small animals like mice AND rats. The soft flannel material used in the hideout provides comfortable bedding for my pets to relax in. The hideout also adds a cozy touch to their habitat. However, the size might not be suitable for larger pets..
