Review on Dremel EZ472SA 120-Grit Detail Medium Abrasive Brush: Powerful White Brush for Precision and Versatility by David Everett

Works well but there are a few things to note before use

The sanding disc works well for my job of removing 40 year old paint from an old outboard motor. For those who don't know, MOST outboard motors are made of aluminum, both the motor itself and the outer casing (including the propeller). I needed something abrasive to remove several coats of paint (the engine had been repainted before but whoever has done it hasn't bothered to remove the old paint, leave the top coat on first, some bright yellow primer, then the original paint and primer coats (typical) but not so rough that they start biting into the aluminum underneath. The problem I had was that the old paint got kind of tacky which all other methods of removing Paint ruined and clogged all kinds of sandpaper discs and roloc bristles, even that weird plastic stripping disc filled up with material and started smearing material over all the parts I've already stripped, although all other methods absolutely suck, this little one did Scheibe worked really well, much to my surprise.Other than that, there was a learning curve that most people do when reading others Didn't understand reviews. I ordered 3 at once and I'm glad I did because I made the same mistake everyone else made on the first one: I pressed on the surface and the brush just broke. The best I've found is to not press the brush more than the weight of the tool, if you do that the brush will still break through the paint but will last MUCH longer. Actually I have yet to wear out the second brush completely and I removed at least 1 square foot of material with several coats of sticky rubber paint.
