Review on Philips Hue Ambiance LightStrip Assistant by Aaron Masek

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Glare-free ambient light is worth the bulk.

I'm an avid Philips Hue collector and have recently joined LIFX. However, Hue remains #1 in its ability to seamlessly integrate with your home and third-party apps (HueDynamic Pro, OnSwitch). I've always used interior light bars, but I didn't like the round light spots, which tend to bother me. parquet floors. In fact, I still haven't solved the problem, although they don't seem to mind. Now I realize that I should have mounted outside moldings instead. you are fat Like a starburst case. Somewhat flexible as you can make a U light enough, but it doesn't clearly fit into a V unless you use some extra mounting brackets. It can't be cropped or otherwise shortened, but to be honest I've never cut it! It comes with a suitable power line and earth connection that is windproof and very robust. I confess I didn't install mine outside. I used it over my kitchen cabinets and would love to have another one! While the inner light strip features a distinctive LED dot array throughout its length, the outer variant emits a single glow. It lays more or less in one direction and won't super curl or bend. However, it is durable and waterproof if you plan to put it outside or light it up in your bathroom. I understand that with some price checking you can pay almost 40-50% less than RRP. I don't think it's worth full price ($160). That's twice as much as in the cabin. I paid between $78 and $90 for mine from Revain (new) and it makes me happy. I will attach a photo of this product as I applied it. I hope this helps someone take the plunge into trying my version for external use, I know you'll be happy with it.
